This event will be focused on providing the community with information on how to begin the healing journey in 4 different topics. Novaturient Inc. is a nonprofit organization focused on guiding children and their families through the healing journey after experiencing childhood trauma. Childhood trauma has the ability to affect individuals well into their adulthood, if not treated properly and in a timely manner. Although therapy is readily available for children, many communities that are affected most do not have the income to afford it. Novaturient Inc. provides the therapy for free and also gives their families sessions to help the entire family regain hope and confidence without carrying around guilt and shame. We're proud to be the only organization in Atlanta offering these services currently. This event will be focused on providing the community with information on how to begin the healing journey in 4 different topics: Childhood and Intergenerational Trauma, Men's Mental Health, Trauma Bonds and Creating Healthy Boundaries, and Caring for yourself and your child while Grieving. Each attendee will have the option to attend 3 of 4 rooms, with each room being 35 minutes. The rooms will have 3-4 panelist each. The panelist will begin with introducing the credentials and specialities. 20 minutes will be spent with conversation on the particular topic, and then the last 10 minutes will be spent answering questions from the guest. The purpose of the event is to initiate conversations within our communities that are important. The event will end with vendors and networking opportunities. Starting the conversations is just the beginning. This event will be followed up by our conference and gala in October. The conference will focus on going into more details about these and more topics, with special guest speakers. Tenative Iteniary 1pm-2pm - Doors open. Refreshments will be served and the welcome will be given 2pm-4pm - Attendees will be able to go to 3/4 rooms. Each room will be 35 minutes 4pm-5pm - Closing remarks and thanks followed by networking and vendors Vendors and Networking Vendors All vendors will be businesses or organizations that are able to offer beneficial services to the communities, such as financial, mental health, therapy, etc. Networking All businesses and organizations will have the opportunity to pay for advertisement in a booklet that will be given to all attendees.
