Learn to paint a Blue Heron in oil, this class is designed for all levels. Come and discover the versatility of classic oil painting. Join renowned artist Elisabeth Ferber to paint this classic and well-loved Florida bird. This class is perfect for beginner and intermediate artists. You will learn about the various types of oil paints and how to use them to create depth and drama in your art. The painting will be completed in class and you will leave with an original piece of artwork that you will be proud to display in your home. A drawing template and all supplies will be provided, drawing skills are not required. Tuition is $35 plus a $15 materials fee payable in cash to the instructor at the beginning of class. Artisans is an artist co-op in downtown Mount Dora, Florida. We specialize in handcrafted artwork of all kinds. Within our gallery there is a small classroom in which we are offering a variety of classes that are fun and addicting. You will always be able to take home something you created in class. The classes are relaxing and intimate. Please arrive 10 minutes before the class starts. Downtown parking lots are within walking distance. Feel free to bring a non-alcoholic beverage.
