An introduction to the red dot pistol, hosted by Modern Samurai Project endorsed instructor Aaron Acklin.
This class serves as an open door to the wonderful world of optics equipped handguns, and is your chance to have your questions answered about techniques and the advantages of carrying an RDS handgun for self protection. Ammo is tight for everyone these days, so Intro to the Red Dot Pistol will feature a relatively low round count while maximizing the transfer of knowledge to you.
You will need:
An optics equipped handgun
100rd FMJ in the caliber of your choice
Ear & eye protection
Holster of your choice (AIWB or strong side strongly encouraged)

I am a certified handgun instructor with over 320 hours of development/training, a certified small arms armorer, and a federally licensed firearms dealer/manufacturer. Not only have I earned a Rangemaster Certification from Tom Givens, but I am also extremely proud to be an Endorsed Instructor of Scott Jedlinski’s Modern Samurai Project. Other nationally respected instructors with whom I have trained include Steve “Yeti” Fisher of Sentinel Concepts, John Johnston of the Ballistic Radio podcast, William Aprill of Aprill Risk Consulting, Mike Seeklander of Shooting Performance, Spencer Keepers of Keepers Concealment, Craig Douglas of ShivWorks, Chuck Haggard of Agile Training and Consulting, Pat MacNamara of TMACS Inc., and Gabe White of Gabe White Training. Since 2011, it has also been my pleasure to serve D.A.R.C. (Direct Action Resource Center) as an opposing force volunteer during force on force scenarios for local and regional S.W.A.T. teams, special operations forces, and other various military units.
