This is a free activity for Philadelphia's Black community. Participants must RSVP to reserve a spot. Please note that tickets are timed and you will not be able to continue skating past 5:45PM. Upon arrival, please pick up your ticket/s from the Black Paradise Project's table in front of the rink. You will have the option of completing a survey that benefits the project, and signing a release form so that your image could be included in a public mural. When: Sunday, December 12 / 5:00PM-6:30PM About The Black Paradise Project: The Black Paradise Project is a collaborative concept created by visual artist Yannick Lowery and counseling psychologist Dr. Kimberly Ashby. With support from Mural Arts' Porch Light program and the City of Philadelphia's Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services, the Black Paradise Project will partner with Black-owned businesses, organizations, and individuals to host monthly joy-based events.
