Join Blue Moon Crew on the water for the best seats on the river to watch the Winterfest Boat Parade! Skip the crowds and float with us! The Winterfest Boat Parade, with this year’s theme "BEST IN SHOW ON H20," will float along the New River and Intracoastal waterway. Everyone will be hanging from their balconies, anchored boats and seawalls to get the best view of the decorated yachts. How would you like to watch the parade from a kayak and get a front row seat? This is a fun event and we encourage you to come early to decorate your kayak too! $85 single kayak or $170 Tandem kayak Includes kayak and glow lights. Participants should be able to paddle 3 miles round trip. We are providing some light snacks and water. Small coolers are welcome. Arrive early to decorate your own kayak from 6:00-7:00 PM (Bring additional lights) and Launch time is 7:00 pm promptly and suggest participants arrive early due to this popular event. Check-in time begins at 5:30 pm. Arrive to George English Park & Marina parking lot. Parking is metered $4/hr by the city. Please remember anything you bring can get wet, so leave all valuables at home or locked away. Lets light up the waterway!
