MILWAUKEE, WI — Over a dozen car accidents have accompanied snowy and windy conditions across Milwaukee County on Monday morning, as the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office says it has responded to crashes along the Interstate 94.
The sheriff's department responded to a "dozen-plus" car accidents as of 8:30 a.m. Monday. Most of the crashes are concentrated along I-94 in both directions and south of I-94. Authorities say that drivers should slow down and give space to other cars for braking.

A wind advisory is out for the Milwaukee area for gusty winds up to 40 mph until 3 p.m., as the National Weather Services say that accumulating snow and flurries will stick around until Monday afternoon.
