NAUGATUCK, CT — Thirty-four will be lost in the community when Flabeg Technical Glass US Corp. closes its Naugatuck plant early next year, reported the Republican-American. The manufacturing facility, which is makes automotive glass, has been in Naugatuck since the 1920s. It is currently located on Church Street. A slowdown in the need for automotive glass, in addition to the continuing impact of the coronavirus, are the reasons for the shutdown, according to the company.
