GAITHERSBURG, MD — A 51-year-old Gaithersburg man has been arrested and charged with possession of child pornography, obstruction of justice, hindering a law enforcement investigation and tampering with evidence in a criminal investigation. Kevin Lewis Long was identified as someone who had received child pornography online during a Maryland State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Investigation. A warrant was issued for the search of his home, where Maryland State Police found multiple child pornography files on his electronic devices, according to a news release. He was arrested Friday. He was taken to the Montgomery County Detention Center.
