Temporary Job Description: The Research Study Recruiter (RSR) will be a temporary, non-benefits eligible position. The RSR will be an essential member of the Northwestern University All of Us Research Program (AoURP) team. The RSR will conduct in-person participant recruitment at various sites throughout the Chicagoland area, including Chicago and neighboring suburbs in the West and North Regions. The RSR will perform recruitment and scheduling for an ongoing research study under the guidance of the Director of Research Engagement. The RSR will conduct in-person recruitment within public areas and waiting rooms across the hospital, tabling, outreach, and presentations at a variety of community events. These recruitment activities involve following approved study language and pro-actively talking to Northwestern Medicine (NM) patients about the All of Us Research Program. In addition, the RSR will communicate by phone and email with potential participants. The RSR will also help schedule study appointments with participants via phone calls, text messaging, email exchanges, and via a web-based appointment scheduling system. Evening and/or weekend work hours will be required and flexibility is key. Qualifications Required: - Excellent verbal communication skills. - Selected candidates will be expected to perform remote phone and computer work and have the ability to deal with people from all cultures and socio-economic levels in a friendly manner. - Willingness to help recruitment, participant center and data staff members as needed - Must have an engaging, energetic personality and be able to transmit excitement and passion for the project to potential participants. - Must have a personal device (computer, iPad, etc.), and will be provided remote access to NU desktop. - Software Required: Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
