Description

Press release from the City of Iowa City: December 3, 2021 Federal law has extended the face mask requirement while traveling on any public transit vehicles, including Iowa City Transit, to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. The extension lasts until March 18, 2022. Face masks must be worn at transit stops, including the transit interchange, boarding the bus, riding, and while disembarking. We want to thank Iowa City Transit passengers who have masked up to help keep themselves and the community safe during the pandemic. Masks must cover the nose and mouth. Passengers not properly wearing masks in compliance with Federal law may lose the privilege to ride Iowa City Transit. Please do your part to help keep Iowa City moving safely.
