NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville residents will have a chance to sound off about planned traffic improvements to 248th Avenue at meeting planned for Dec. 8. This last in a series of public meetings will feature an updated presentation of the most recent development concept, which is based previous feedback form residents.
The planned improvements will focus on 248th Avenue between 95th and 103rd Streets. The city aims to improve the thoroughfare for vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians with a 12-month project that is tentatively set to start in 2024.
Per city documents, some potential improvements include:
Installing new pavement Installing new curbs and gutters Connecting gaps in bike path on west side of 248th Avenue Pouring a new sidewalk on the east side of 248th AvenueThose who are unable to attend the Dec. 8 meeting can email Ray Fano at [email protected] for information.
