Press release from San Diego County Sheriff's Department: 12/05/2021 8:27 AM On December 4, 2021, at about 4:20 p.m., Sheriff's deputies responded to the 1300 block of Fern Avenue in the city of Imperial Beach for a report of a shooting. When deputies arrived, they found a woman and a man who had been shot inside the residence. Unfortunately, the woman was pronounced deceased at the scene. The man was transported to a local area hospital in critical condition. He was pronounced deceased shortly after arriving at the hospital. The suspect fled the scene prior to the deputies arriving.
