Two Silkie Hens

I have two Silkie hens for adoption. Bonded pair, you must take them both. One is a black showgirl and the other is red. They do lay. Around 1.5-2 years old. You must come to Piedmont to pick them up. I would like for them to go to someone who plans to spend time with them and let them safely free range some during the day. They like to go back into the coop at night. Must be knowledgeable in silkies, they need a high protein food and plenty of veggies as they can develop “rye-neck” easier than other chickens. Please let me know if you are interested in adopting them together. I’m asking a $25 adoption fee.
