Here are the top stories today in Raleigh: The North Carolina Chinese Lantern Festival at Koka Booth Amphitheatre has set attendance records this year. More than 56,000 visitors attended the first two weeks of the festival compared to 24,280 in 2019 when the festival was last held. (CBS17) Four schools in the area had security officers present on Monday following weekend threats. The principal of Garner Magnet High School encouraged parents to remind students not to share rumors or perpetuate fear on social media, and instead speak with school administrators or a trusted adult. (WRAL)Police are investigating after a man was found dead inside a home in southeast Raleigh. The man was found at the Parrish Manor community near Garner on Sunday night. Detectives are investigating the circumstances of the man's death. The court has given defendants in the gerrymandering lawsuits until Thursday to respond why the districts should remain in place.
