Job Summary As entry level employees, General Laborers perform a variety of tasks- including unskilled or semi-skilled duties. As a general laborer advances by learning and applying the basic skills required within the assigned department, adopting safe and responsible work habits, maintaining a good attendance record, gaining a general understanding of plant operations, improving personal productivity, and demonstrating the ability to perform required tasks accurately under moderate supervision. Job Responsibilities: Depending on job assignment/department, skills and or processes may include the following: Tying rebar Placing concrete Operating concrete vibrator Routine patching of structural concrete Pulling strand Setting and fastening forms Physical requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
