Live in housekeeper wanted, part time in exchange for rent

Looking for an individual or couple to rent or live in as a part time housekeeper (in exchange for rent) with a capable elderly person in a large house. The work exchange would involve approx. 10-15 hrs a week of work. Responsibilities include housekeeping and maintenance such as cleaning dishes, taking the trash to curb, house cleaning, running errands, grocery shopping, etc. Please be able to drive and have a good driving record. There is one car that must be driven regularly. The room is furnished with a bed, dresser, desk, large closet. The ideal person(s) will spend nights at the house, be quiet, respectful, easy to be around, be helpful, responsible, and friendly. There may be occasional projects for additional work, if you are interested at the time. If you are very helpful and interested, the position may eventually be broadened to include additional responsibilities for a weekly stipend. A background check will be required.
