This is a Garage Band question: I created a pretty extensive and articulate midi track for drums. Its a whole song length ( all patterns where merged for export ) hard rock/metal style drum track. Each midi event was step programmed. I use Superior Drummer 3 as a plugin for the sounds. I would like to export the midi track as a file and save it to be used in another DAW. I tried saving it as a loop but that doesn't work. I thought it would save to the library under apple loops and could be exported but that is not the case. There are youtube vids but they did not work for this version of garage band. It's v10.2 Has anyone done something similar? Having created a midi track ( or any midi track for that matter) and wanted to export the midi data as a. mid file? Any help is welcomed. I posted online to apple help but got nothing. Garage Band is great until you want to use what was created in it somewhere else. It is not quite as flexible as other "real' DAWs.
