Hiring Music Teachers immediately! Piano, Guitar, Drums, Violin. Description: Atlanta Music Education, LLC is currently recruiting new teachers in the performing arts, specifically now in piano, voice, drums, violin and guitar for our growing wait list. Contracted private music lesson teachers travel to our client's homes inside the metro Atlanta perimeter, many being in the Decatur and East Atlanta neighborhoods to teach 20-60 minute lessons depending on the student's age and level. Pay starts at $28.50 per 30 minute lesson but many families are multi sibling households. Please email a resume, headshot, three references and a cover letter to be considered for an interview. Job Responsibilities: Create lesson plans and teach music lessons to a diverse population of students in the Atlanta perimeter (mainly Decatur, and East Atlanta neighborhoods) Communicate with parents about the progress of their students, and important information they need Communicate with administrative staff when needed. Create your own invoice each month. Attend all Atlanta Music Education monthly events such as student recitals, group classes planned as a team by the teachers and our popular Kids Open Mics. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's Degree. (Preferred) Experience in teaching, education programming or working with children Must have reliable transportation. Must be fully vaccinated. Must comply to wearing a mask for the entirety of in-person lessons.
