Job Description Well established natural stone and solid surface manufacturing company is looking for a mechanic specialized on large machinery and mechanical equipment to join our growing team. The successful candidate will report to the Facilities Manager, providing skilled mechanic type functions, ensuring proper and efficient maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment. Applicants must have experience of same or related industry and MUST speak English. Bilingual is a plus. Essential Duties: • Performs diagnostic, replacement and repairs for ALL machinery & equipment. • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements. • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, machinery. • Operate machinery and equipment. • Maintain equipment, parts and supply inventories. • Perform company-wide inspections of machinery as required. • Maintain service logs in compliance with procedures, rules and regulations. • Performs other facility’s maintenance duties as instructed Qualifications: • Must be able to read and follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturing instructions, and engineering specifications. • Mechanical aptitude. • Able to follow verbal and written instructions. • Able to independently evaluate current conditions against standard and perform tasks necessary to bring areas to standard. • Able to read and write English. • Valid driver license. Requirements: • Two (2) years of experience in large machinery mechanical/maintenance crafts (including machinist or facility maintenance/construction) or a combination of education and experience in industrial mechanical repair and maintenance. • Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English. • Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards. • Ability to effectively communicate and work closely with other maintenance team members. • Experience with ACAD or similar programs is a PLUS Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) Matching Dental Insurance Health Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off Referral Program Retirement Plan Vision Insurance Job Type: Full-time
