Bighammerwines.com operates a pack, ship, and fulfillment warehouse in Poway, CA. Daily picking and packing of wine orders to ship direct to consumer. Additionally, we offer some third party fulfillment services. We are seeking a warehouse associate who can do the following: Be attentive to details of picking/packing boxes Maintain a clean work environment Positive workplace attitude Shipstation software experience a plus Able to lift 40+ pound boxes easily Fork lift certification a plus Please read about our Culture & Core Values to see if we're a fit for you. Communication Expectations Positive Talk: Around clients we do not talk about religion, sex, politics, negative things happening in our personal lives, etc. The content of our conversations around our customers is always positive, upbeat and one where all things are possible. Air Grievances: Any and all grievances, no matter how small, are communicated. If someone is upset, they go to the person the grievance is directly related to and attempt to work it out with them first. If appropriate, the grievance is brought up in a meeting or communicated to Greg. Gossiping about a grievance with other team members is not tolerated. The exception is, of course, an HR issue. We ask that you always bring up such issues to upper management and/or HR as soon as possible. Propose Solutions: When anyone notices a breakdown in a system or communication chain, this breakdown is communicated to Greg with a proposed solution as soon as possible. We are all responsible for being part of the solution and keeping the team and office running smoothly. Be Accountable: Martellotto employees take responsibility for and own up to their mistakes. We can fix it. Simply acknowledge your humanity and let your manager know when a mistake has been made. Conduct Expectations Avoid Drama: Martellotto employees do not complain, whine, or grumble inside the workplace. We avoid dramatics when discussing system breakdowns, grievances, or client situations. Martellotto is a positive brand, not only when talking with and about clients, but also when talking to our fellow coworkers.
