Make a difference in your community and join 211info’s team of remotely based engagement coordinators. We are hiring a full-time, benefitted staff member who is a resident of Marion, Polk or Yamhill County. Community Engagement Coordinators have an important role in connecting people in their area with health, social service and emergency service organizations. They build and maintain relationships with community networks including emergency management programs, ensure that the 211info statewide database has accurate, comprehensive and up-to-date resource information, and engage in outreach to people in their communities. Candidates should have knowledge of community networks and emergency management programs; presentation skills; and the ability to travel around the region. The Coordinator will mostly work remotely but must have a reliable vehicle to travel to outreach events and meetings as needed. 211info invites candidates who are BIPOC, who are committed to working with under-represented populations, who speak languages in addition to English, and/or who reflect their region’s diverse communities. This position pays $18-$25.40 an hour, depending on experience, plus mileage, with a $1 an hour language differential available for bilingual applicants.
