Crew Member (Part - Time) Hiring This Week (Hanover, MD) compensation: $14.00 Per Hour We are hiring TEAM MEMBERS to complete Roadside maintenance and litter pickup. This debris pickup will be done by walking the road right of way collecting litter and trash and depositing into plastic bag. These bags will then be loaded into a vehicle and transported to a central collection point and deposited into dumpsters. This position is Part-Time and it's located in Hanover, MD 21076 The core working hours are 7:30 am to 2:00 pm, M-F 25 to 30 hours per week, Weather Permitting Under the supervision of the immediate supervisor, the crew member is responsible for litter pick up at assigned areas. Responsibilities and Duties 1. Picks up litter along roads, sidewalks, grass areas and all other designated areas. 2. Deposit into plastic bags. 3. Performs variety of labor duties within specified area. 4. Follows all safety policies, including site safety regulations, roadside safety procedures. 5. Completes all mandatory trainings. 6. Performs other duties as assigned. Crew Member Qualification One (1) year experience in field of contract work (e.g. custodial, grounds maintenance, etc.) preferred. Physical Qualifications Must be able to stand 100% of the work time and must be able to lift/carry 25 lbs. Must be able to discern dangerous situations and avoid being struck by high speed traffic which could be operating within 10' of work areas. Must be able to perform constant physical labor including stooping, bending, lifting, twisting, etc. outdoors in all weather conditions for full shift Must be able to speak to communicate with supervisors, staff, co-workers, etc. Must possess good vision and hearing.
