The “Navigation 101” course will help you gain the knowledge and skills necessary to venture out onto the water safely and build the confidence that can ensure successful pleasure trips to places where the fishing, swimming, or beach parties with friends are happening. This course is designed for the new boater as well as the amateur. Learn to read and use a chart properly, learn to use the navigation tools correctly and gain the ability to plot a course to your favorite destination(s). Learn how much time it will take to your destination, or how far away it is so can enjoy the beautiful sights along our beautiful coastline and visit our “Island Park” system safely and with confidence. Take our “1-day – all day” Navigation 101 Classroom Course to gain the knowledge of safe boating navigation principles, develop the skills needed to navigate the waters of Narragansett Bay and its surrounding waterways and tributaries.
