Description
Looking to hire this week a licensed plumber (no handymen, contractors, property managers, guys that did it hundreds of times) to finish two projects I began and can't find time to complete. Day and time is flexible, but I want to do this in the next few days.
The first project is to finish connecting an installed caste iron tub to the existing plumbing. The PVC was glued at a slightly wrong angle, making the extension that connects to the tub too short and the P trap hangs down about 1/2" too low, creating an issue with the sheetrock from the ceiling below. The ceiling is opened so its easy to work on the problem from below. I think this one will take about 20 minutes, assuming you don't need to rebuild the P-trap (I'll buy the parts and have them on hand, just in case).
The second project is completing a hot water baseboard re-routing. You'll need to drain the line, cut out the section of baseboard being removed, or I can with a Sawzall, solder a 3/4" copper to Pex elbow to the cut line, crimp the Pex side to the Pex already there, and then connect the other side from the Pex to a copper elbow that runs under the slab to the next baseboard. The baseboard has a return, so in total, there are two Pex lines, requiring four copper to Pex elbows. When finished, you'll need to refill the line and get the air out.
I have all the parts, you should bring a torch and solder and a Pex crimper (I bought one, but would prefer to return it if you have one).
If you are interested, please respond with ALL of the following:
1) Day and time you'd like to do the work;
2) Your plumbing license number. If you are not licensed, please don't respond as I've had too much trouble hiring non licensed people that just make a mess and don't save me any time; and
3) How many years you've been a licensed plumber
