Locally owned gym is looking for part time cleaners. This job would be paid as an employee and you would be added to our payroll. Quite frankly, we’re tired of paying a large corporation good money, and finding out that they are paying minimum wage to the employees who actually do the work. This is an opportunity for an honest, dependable cleaning person to be well paid for the cleaning that they do. We supply all cleaning materials, mops, vacuums, etc. Responsibilities: Vacuuming carpeted areas of the gym Mopping hard surface floors (locker rooms, entry slate, rubber mats) Locker Rooms: sinks, countertops, showers, toilets, lockers, floors General: spot cleaning mirrors, entry door handprints, trash removal Equipment cleaning: Wiping down treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, etc. The general cleaning of the gym will take approximately 3-1/2 hours per night. The remaining hour and a half will be used for rotational equipment cleaning. Hours would be 6:30 – 11:30pm on Saturday nights and 5:30 – 10:30 on Sunday nights. Pay: $17.00/hour for 10 hours per week. Additional hours may be available for a quality individual. This job focuses on quality, not quantity. Our members recognize us as the cleanest gym in town.
