I'm a guitar player and a big fan of 80s music including everything from the hair bands to the synth pop and new wave genres. With the popularity of groups like The 1975 and Haim and synth wave artists like the The Midnight and FM-84, I've wanted to play in a similar type of project. Ideally, it would be great find a lead guitar player, keyboardist(s), vocalist(s), and drummer, but I'm open to any configuration even if we're just a duo or trio. Personally, I am most comfortable on rhythm guitar, but my lead playing is okay. A few of my own influences are Dokken, Ratt, Whitesnake, Def Leppard, The Outfield, Rush, Eddie Money, Scandal/Patty Smyth, Van Halen, Survivor, A Flock of Seagulls, Tears for Fears, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Mr. Mister, The Midnight, Mitch Murder, Miami Nights 1984, FM-84, Kristine, Fire Tiger, Go West, Huey Lewis and the News, Strangeways, Richard Marx, Marcie Free, Signal, FM, and many more! I have my own gear and home recording set up, but would be open to going to a professional studio if this became more serious. But in the short term I'm happy to meet up/jam/get to know each other and see where things go from there.
