Let's make costumes to get ready for a festive New Year's Day procession!
Join costume-maker, celebrant, and all around creator of neat things Wendi YuLing for one or more sessions of costume-making. The theme is "fringe," which you can interpret any way you like, as long as your finished look is family-friendly. Wendi will be on hand during all sessions to provide assistance as needed, so even if you have no experience making any art at all you are very welcome to join. There will be costuming supplies and making supplies on hand at the gallery, or bring your own if you'd like. Donations of more supplies are always welcome: fringe, colorful fabric, long sturdy sticks of bamboo for staffs and signs, large beads (no seed beads, please), paracord or rope, acrylic paint, mask blanks, etc*.
*Please note that we will not be doing paper mache in the gallery as there is no sink for cleanup in the space.
You may sign up for as many of the sessions as you like! If demand is high, Wendi may ask folks to limit their number of sessions.
