Its current membership consists of over 500 gifted and talented professional women residing in the Washington metropolitan area. The members are actively involved in many programs and activities to promote the sorority’s national programmatic thrust. Since its inception, TheFCAC has continued its commitment to the community in arts, education, and social action through involvement with African-­‐American art galleries, student cultural arts workshops, the Black College Tour, school trips to visit members of Congress, and the annual awarding of student scholarships.
