Seeking Help Finding Venue for Meetup on Wednesdays

I recently started hosting a social group in Brooklyn on Wednesdays, beginning to 7pm to whenever the party dies out. We can stay until midnight. 30 people per meetup. I do this as a completely volunteer thing. Yet, the previous venue I hosted at (Brooklyn Brewery) had the nerve to not give me the private room for two hours for group because we didn't pay for the private room (it was unoccupied anyway), and staff was rude. The replacement venue had the nerve to charge me for $5 drinks despite I brought in 30 people when they had no customers. I do this socially, and don't have time to search for venues to host this social gathering. I would like a venue that can treat Meetup organizers like guest (as opposed to a customer), and willing to give $100 for someone who can assist. Have tried asking group members for assistance. Most don't have bandwidth and don't want to ask group members. Will provide more details on email reply.
