Hello local musicians, I am looking to build a wedding band! Musically we would perform "Top 40's" charts of the last 50/60 years in the style of Soul, Funk, & Jazz. Our rehearsals will run throughout the Winter. This Spring we would play local gigs around SW Montana and work to build two 1-hour sets of danceable tunes. Simultaneously, building media/marketing to book weddings and corporate events for Summer '22. Musicians wanted: Piano, Guitar, Bass, Horn(s) and a Vocalist. This band is intended to be run professionally for the benefit of serious and versatile musicians. Expectations of rehearsals will be 2-3 a month. I will provide a rehearsal space, quality lead-sheets, and recordings in advance of our rehearsals. Your time is valuable so our performances and rehearsals will be focused, goal oriented, and start/end on time. A little about myself... I studied drum set & percussion at EWU and performed professionally around Washington and Montana. The past 10 years I have taught professionally in Livingston, run close to 9,000 ensemble rehearsals, and produced over 300 live performances. However, I have never produced a wedding band. I love trail running, backcountry skiing, gardening, bartending, and mountain biking with my husky Chinook.
