Description
I was asking for help when I got a reply from someone who needs more help then me.
I'm a 62 man in fair to good health that lives in a small trailer. I just started receiving a monthly SS check of $470 and was looking for a room to rent. My trailer is cold in the winter.
A 67 year old fella replied to my ad. He has a mobile home on 3 acres in Eugene. I go to meet him abs he's a wonderful frail fella. He lives alone with a wood stove for heat. He looks like he hasn't been eating and weighs no more than 100lbs.
I am in Springfield and can't help but worry about him on a cold night like this. Its not that my situation is much better but I am feeling blessed compared to him.
This fella is smart, kind, and I think he has had some renters that just moved out of his barn and taken advantage of him.
You see... I just met this guy and I really don't know his story.
I do believe if someone doesn't help him he may not make it through winter.
I guess I am reaching out to find someone trustworthy that can go to his house and help him get a caseworker or caregiver that can help get him on a better path..
I wanted to go check on him but I don't have gas money to do it.
PLEASE DO NOT REPLY ASKING ME
if he has family or friends or?? You now know about as much as I do about him.
I do know this... He's sitting in a mobile home alone tonight probably hungry and cold.
Who can I call that can go help him?
I think he owns his house and property
I think some people have came and went leaving messes
Need someone that will not take advantage of what he does have.
