Description
Friendship Missionary Baptist Church In-person Worship Service Hello! We are excited to announce our return to in-person worship on Sunday, July 25th at 10AM. At Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, our main priorities are SAFETY and EFFICIENCY. For now, our only in-person gatherings will be Sundays for corporate worship. All Bible studies and meetings will continue to meet virtually unless meetings are located outdoors. For us to be able to continue providing in-person worship services, all attendees will need to comply with all guidelines. Anyone who is sick, experiencing COVID-like symptoms, or considered high risk is encouraged to continue worshipping virtually. We will begin with one in-person Sunday worship service at 10AM. Our live streaming options will continue to be available. To ensure that we do not exceed our modified seating capacity, pre-registration will be required to attend in-person worship services. To register, go to fmbcfaync.org and click on the Eventbrite link (on the Homepage) or if you are a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and have signed up for the church’s email updates, the link will be emailed to you. Registration is also available for members who need assistance and are experiencing problems with accessing the site or need transportation services. Members can call the church office on Tuesdays between 12pm and 2pm. This is the only day and time for registration by phone. Registrations will open on Mondays at 8:00 am and close each Friday at noon each week or when capacity is met. Everyone will enter through the main entrance. Doors will be either propped open or held open by volunteers to avoid constant touching of doors. A touchless sanitization station and disposable masks will be available upon entry. Masks must be worn at all times when in the building. Only the hall restrooms will be available for use. Please use restrooms before entering the sanctuary and before the start of service. Beyond that, restrooms should be used for emergencies only. Worshippers will be seated by volunteers. Seating will be marked for compliance with appropriate social distancing guidelines. You should plan to sit with persons in your same household. There will be no passing of communion or offering trays. Offering envelopes and communion cups will be pre-bagged and distributed upon entering sanctuary. Offering will be received in a stationary receptacle on the way out of the sanctuary. Sections will be dismissed one side at a time. Everyone will exit the building through the main entrance. A sanitization station will be available as you exit the building. The guidelines below will also apply: Wear a mask; ages three (3) and up; Wash your hands before and after services; Stay six feet from others; Cover coughs and sneezes; Use hand sanitizer frequently; Be willing to conduct a self-assessment before coming to church and govern yourself accordingly; Stay home if you have COVID 19 or have had any contact with a known COVID-19 confirmed case. Due to the attendee limit, we may not be able to accommodate walk-ins at this time; Because we will be live-streaming, we ask that you plan to be at FMBC and seated by 9:45 am for worship service. Each attendee must be greeted and checked in. For additional questions, please contact Carolyn Lattimore @ 910.670.2529. Do Justice. Love Mercy. Walk Humbly. Pastor Timothy D. Careathers
