Yalda Night Party,
Persian Food, Dance
Dear Honorable Clemson Students,
Yaldā Night (Persian: شب یلدا shab-e yalda; Dec 21) or Chelleh Night (Persian: شب چله shab-e chelle) is an Iranian Northern Hemisphere's winter solstice festival celebrated on the "longest and darkest night of the year". As students are mostly traveling at the time, CISO has planned to organize the event a bit earlier on Dec 11th. Yalda Night event is one of the most important Iranian cultural events that warm people’s hearts by gathering and preparing them to get through the cold nights of winter by starting with some fun. CISO invites Iranian and other international students, faculty, and their families to come together and celebrate this joyful night. Hope to see you all there 🍉✨🍉
Dinner will be served around 7:30 pm and refreshments are available throughout the party. Please note that we expect to have the headcount at the latest on Tuesday 7th December and greatly appreciate having your info till then. We are looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday 🍉🍉🍉
Cheers,
