29 palms: Looking for a local gal or guy who is physically fit with a healthy, positive attitude (and a strong work ethic) who enjoys doing random property tasks and staying busy. This includes some yard clean up, hauling, moving things, and using basic tools to do minor painting, cleaning, sanding wood etc.. THE FUN PART will be helping us build some really cool, creative furnishings from repurposed wood and other items.! You may learn a lot of neat building tricks in the process! We are a mile from the town center and there is a bus stop nearby if you don’t have your own vehicle. Easy to find. We have some power tools (electric drill, electric sander, electric saws etc….and a lot of basic hand tools as well) but feel free to bring your own if you have any. A plus if you know how to use power tools (but OK if you don’t and are eager to learn. We can teach you. However, the pay scale will depend on your skill level and work ethic. You will get paid more if you can do things on your own without constant supervision., show up on time be reliable, communicative and commitable. The pay scale is $15-20/hr. This is a freelance part time temp job that could last a week or several months depending on how well we work together. We are looking to build a friendly relationship with someone trustworthy whine we can use on a regular basis as needed. We are kind, respectful and considerate people seeking the same. ** Please- NO DRUGS/ALCOHOL or POT -TOBACCO SMOKERS or CONVICTS. If you have addiction issues, a criminal record, need cigarette breaks while working or feel inclined to check your cel phone constantly please do not apply. If we are paying you hourly we don’t want distractions. It’s not fair. We have a budget and need to get things done in a timely manner. We will be doing a background check on any person who will be applying for the job and accessing our property. There are video surveillance cameras surrounding the property so we are aware of who comes and goes.
