Description
Personal Assistant needed ten to twenty hours per week. Busy writer/teacher/business owner looking for a great local personal assistant in the Monterey/Santa Cruz area. I would love to find a detail-oriented personal assistant who loves organization, is not intimidated by learning tech/social media skills. Ideally, the person I hire will be someone interested in writing/teaching/social media. I'd love to mentor someone in this business and help them grow as they help me level up in my business. Many of the duties can be done virtually and worked into your own schedule but I am looking for someone who is able to come to my home in North Monterey/South Santa Cruz area. Duties would include: • Scheduling personal appointments for myself (doctors appts, therapy appts, volunteering) • Booking travel arrangements (flights, hotel, car service, etc.) • Managing my inbox including drafting and sending emails • Helping to draft and edit email newsletters • Keep my spaces organized such as my office, closet, files, etc. • Managing returns and other errands such as shopping, post office, etc. • Sorting mail, deliveries, etc. • Coordinate scheduling, travel, events, etc. • Packing and unpacking before/after travel • Light cleaning when needed • Occasionally travel with my team on business trips The position starts at $20hr and will raise as your tasks and responsibilities grow. If you’re punctual, reliable, fully vaccinated, feminist, believe in science, and human rights we will be a good fit. If you are offended by cursing, silliness, if you hate social media, or are annoyed or shaming toward a boisterous creative with ADHD, this job is not right for you. I'm looking for a self starter, who is kind, organized, and values communication and collaboration. Please reply to this ad with: your name what city you live in, your phone number, what days and times during the week you are available, why you’d be great for this position, and what you do on the other days of the week (other jobs? school?) Please use the word "sparkles" in the subject line (to ensure you've read this post in its entirety). Thank you!
