Must love dogs! YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS. This job includes shifts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Concord. More shifts are available in Oakland during the week. So you can either choose part-time in Concord or full-time for both locations. Seeking a person who loves and will be kind to animals but has a strong attitude and is not scared to break up dog altercations. You spend much time with dogs! The pace of work is fast, and you need to be able to think quickly on your feet. You must be friendly and have strong customer service skills as you interact with people too. Most tasks require lifting, kneeling, and bending because you will be picking up poop and pee, mopping, laundry, washing bowls, and other cleaning tasks. Excellent communication and general office skills including working with computers and talking on the phone with customers. Requirements include consistent job attendance, completion of tasks, and a positive attitude towards other staff, so team skills is a must!
