Job Description:
Perform digging and simple backflow repairs while learning the plumbing trade. We are looking for highly motivated and mechanically inclined individuals who want to start a career in plumbing. No previous service experience necessary.
Preferred Skills and Education:
High School Diploma
Knowledge of various tools used in plumbing repair and maintenance
Able to lift and carry 75 pounds and work in dirty/wet environments.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Training Program:
Learn to solder copper pipe for residential and commercial customers.
Learn to operate snakes, work with sewer equipment, and other plumbing equipment/hand tools.
Learn to inspect Backflows and other plumbing components to locate problems.
One on one training with journey plumber.
Learn to log assignments and write detailed reports.
Backflow testing and repair training.
