Use just a tablet

Hola vecinos: I don't use a cell and can't justify purchasing one. However, I think a tablet would be good for me. I have a landline and desktop PC at home. If I'm out shopping or dining or just out and about, I'm not going to respond to cell phone call. I think a tablet would be a better fit, however, I'd like to converse w/someone who uses just a table and not a cell phone. Gracias, CL
