Description
Hello. I need help moving and loading a very large aquarium from the front of a pet store, to the bed of my F-150. I have already taken the hood/lights/sump/coral inserts/etc. So it's the glass tank and the stand below it that still need to be moved. It's 2 pieces. It's 75" long x 25"wide. Each piece is 30-36 inches tall.
Not sure how much the tank weighs, but estimate it's 600+lbs. It's heavier than most tanks it's size. The stand is probably 100-150lbs. It took 6 people to move the tank into the store. The store does have some limited staff that can assist if needed, but they are kind of scared to touch it, so I wouldn't count on much help. I can also help, and have moved up to 300 gallon tanks before. The store says they have a hydraulic lift, but I haven't seen it, so I don't know if it will be helpful. They do have a large heavy duty cart that the tank could be slid onto, then rolled to the truck.
You can see in the photo, the distance from the door to the curb. The aquarium to the left of the door is what we're moving. It's 15-20ft to the curb, and it's level. There's also a ramp down to the parking lot from the curb.
Looking to schedule for sometime this week, Mon-Fri 11am-6pm. The store closes at 7pm, so I want to be there without having to worry about time. Location is in Renton.
Please let me know what questions you have, and send me a quote for the labor. Also, let me know how many people you are providing. I want to get everyone in one place, so we're not waiting on no shows. It's a long drive for me, so it will be important to be on time. You will be paid immediately and in full upon completion of the job.
Thanks, looking forward to hearing from you!
