INTERVIEWING NOW: SKILLED LEAD CARPENTER ($35) & CARPENTER'S ASSISTANT, TREE PLANTING & HOMESTEAD HAND (@ $20 PER HR) - JOBS on beautiful, private, rural, no drama, So Humboldt property. - LEAD CARPENTER. Interviewing NOW. Building nice, creative, quality shed/ storage buildings (20’x40’ & 10’x12’) and various projects. High skilled experience and tools required. Pole building (10’x12’) experience a plus! Being able to build, solve some design aspects and collaborate with the owner is needed. Work is 5-6 days a week. $35 per hour. - CARPENTER'S ASSISTANT. Help the carpenter with cutting, drilling, rebar, moving, holding wood being nailed, etc. Also digging, setting forms & Sona Tubes and rebar for new building foundations. $20 per hour. - HOMESTEAD HAND. Help with various tasks, pruning, moving brush, lawn care, weed whacking, burn piles, water-system repairs (PVC and poly-pipe), etc. (Possible this work can be done by Carpenter's Asst when Carpenter doesn't require help). $20 per hour. - TREE PLANTING. There is a grove of 22 Leyland Cyprus trees, 5-8 foot tall (in 10? gallons pots) to plant. Possibly smaller Fir and Cedar trees to mix in too. The 'grove' area will either be fenced or each individual tree will have a fence 'tube' around them. Experience with tree planting and/or gardening is required. This is likely a 3-5 day job. $20 per hour. PLUMBING: Various projects. Drain line, exterior irrigation, etc. Maybe a day of work. Rate TBD. MUST HAVE job references, reliable transportation, (some) tools, good communication skills, and clear a background check, etc. On site camping/housing with access to indoor shower and kitchen facilities may be an option. Payments will be weekly. Job is off-grid, in the hills, 35 minutes from Garberville, near Miranda. 25 minute drive off 101 - 7 miles of paved county road, then 3 miles of gravel country road to site.
