Looking for Independent Contractors with 20ft or 26ft box truck for furniture delivery Furniture Delivery Driver AND/OR Furniture Delivery Helper We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional manner to increase customer satisfaction. Responsibilities This is a part- time position which can include early morning hours and some weekends. 1-2 days a week. You will make sure all supplies and components needed for the day's route are on the truck. You can lift at least 60 pounds with ease and follow all safety guidelines. You will load and unload the truck efficiently without causing damage to property, the truck, or merchandise. You will load, unload, move, unpack, and assemble furniture. You will show up to work on time, be clean, and professionally and courteously communicate with our customers. Drivers also follow routes and time schedule Drivers and Helpers load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle Complete logs and reports Follow DOT regulations and safety standards Touch-freight. The positions include loading and unloading, unpacking, and some furniture assembly Skills Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver or Helper Valid professional driver’s license (for drivers) Ability to operate forklifts in a variety of weather and traffic conditions a plus Excellent organizational and time management skills Good driving record with no DUI's or DWI's
