Press release from Kendall County Sheriff's Office: 12/04/2021 4:00 AM 12/03/21 2021-3427, In-State Warrant: On 12/03/21 at 12:38 p.m., deputies responded to the 15300 block of Lisbon Center Rd. in Big Grove Township to attempt service on a warrant.  Contact was made with James C. Dowling, a 26-year-old male from the 2900 block of Meadowview Ln. in Montgomery.  Dowling was taken into custody on a Kendall County warrant for possession of a controlled substance with bond set at $5,000/10%.  He was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing. 2021-3427, In-State Warrant: 2021-3428, ID Theft: On 12/03/21 at 12:42 p.m., deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Crescent Court in Oswego Township for a report of an identity theft.  The investigation is ongoing. 2021-3430, Theft by Deception: On 12/03/21 at 1:18 p.m., deputies responded to the 6100 block of Legacy Circle in Kendall Township for a report of theft by deception.  The investigation is ongoing. 2021-3433, Domestic Battery: On 12/03/21 at 8:43 p.m., Deputies responded for a report of a domestic battery at the 0-99 block of Sonora dr. in Oswego Township.  The investigation is ongoing   2021-3434, 10-50 PI: On 12/03/21 at 10:07 p.m., Deputies responded to a call of a traffic crash at 2220 block of Plainfield Rd.  Debra Guzman a 42-year-old female and Gregory Vargas, a 49-year-old male of the of the 600 block of Clement St. Joliet, IL left the roadway and struck in an embankment.  Both were transported to Rush Copley hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  No citations issued.   2021-3435, Domestic Battery: On 12/03/21 at 10:03 p.m., deputies responded to the 2000 block of Rock Creek Road in Little Rock Township for a report of a Domestic Battery. The investigation is ongoing.   2021-3438, In-State Warrant: On 12/04/21 at 3:45 a.m., deputies were conducting a traffic stop near RT 31 and Baseline RD, Oswego Township and made contact with Leotray D Davis, a 24-year-old man from the 900 block of LaFayette ST in Aurora. Davis was taken into custody on a Kendall County warrant for failure to appear for driving while license suspended with a bond set at $2,000/ 10% plus $75 FTA fee. Davis was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing. The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
