Artist Needed to Teach Acrylic Painting

The Milan Senior Center is looking for an artist to give monthly painting lessons in acrylics. You would charge the participants as you see fit ($25 is typical) for a 2-2.5 hour lesson. If you've ever visited the Milan facility, you know it's beautiful with lots of natural light and the friendliest, most dedicated staff you'll ever meet. Typically, 10 to 14 fun loving seniors sign up each month, and you'd be welcome to set a limit either way - IOW, too few sign-ups and you could cancel, or too many and you could set the max. You'd need to provide a canvas for each person (either the simple board-backed type, or the stretched-on-a-frame type), paper plates for palates, and paper towels. That, and the dabs of paint that you'd put on the plates would be your only expense. You'd also need to provide brushes and plastic cups for water, but they'd be immediately returned to you at the end of each class (or you could use paper cups). This is a casual affair with the level of skill and amount of instruction left up to you. We just enjoy the opportunity to learn something new and create something skillful while in the company of friends.
