High: 69 Low: 44. Here are the top stories in Atlanta today: A triple shooting Saturday night near Mercedes-Benz Stadium has left three people hospitalized in stable condition. The incident happened around 10 p.m. at the intersection of Peters Street and Walker Street SW, according to Atlanta police, which is about a mile from where the SEC Championship Game was held earlier that day. Details about what led up to the shooting are unclear. Police are still working to gather more information. (11Alive.com WXIA)A day after playing the SEC Championship Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Alabama and Georgia were among four teams chosen by the College Football Playoff selection committee to vie for the national title. After beating Georgia 41-24 Saturday, Alabama will face Cincinnati in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic Dec. 31, the same day Georgia will play Michigan in the Capital One Orange Bowl. The winners will play Jan. 10 in the national championship game in Indianapolis. The forecast is for one to three inches of rain, with some locally higher amounts likely over the next seven days. (11Alive.com WXIA)A shooting in northwest Atlanta Saturday afternoon left one man hospitalized. After responding to a shots fired call at Joseph E. Boone Boulevard and West Lake Avenue around noon, officers were told the shooting victim was at a nearby fire station. The man, who was transported to the hospital, is in stable condition and police are continuing to investigate.
