Dynamic Logistics Project Manager to support a project based in Baltimore – to deploy sound trucks in key minority populated areas where data continues to show high COVID-19 case numbers, but low vaccine uptake. The selected candidate will be responsible for all project coordination support activities for the vaccination campaign project. The Logistics Project Manager will directly manage day to day activities with the drivers, tracking routes, as well as troubleshooting driver and general logistics issues that may arise. Preparation of required reports on the weekly basis is required. This position will report to the Strategic Logistics Manager. Responsibilities ● Ensure SOPs and other process documents are up to date, drafting any new policy documents as required. ● Collaborate with Kuji Global Senior Management to rent or procure necessary vehicles as required by the project. ● Lead recruitment process for new drivers, which includes but is not limited to: o Screening resumes as well as scheduling initial interviews. o Upon hire, providing new hire documents, ensuring the documents are completed in a timely manner, reviewed, and uploaded to the indicated drive. o Upon hire, providing orientation as well as walk-through of required SOPs, WIs and so on to introduce drivers to Kuji Global policies and job expectations. ● Oversee a team of drivers which includes but is not limited to: o Day to day check-in calls at the beginning and end of the day. o Main point of contact for drivers to report accidents and / or any incidents. o Review daily driver log as well as weekly timecard. o Approve and provide travel support for drivers as necessary (e.g. booking hotel, ensuring per diem is paid and so on). ● Troubleshooting activities may include but are not limited to: o Picking up and dropping off necessary equipment to drivers. o Picking up and dropping off drivers in case of incident and/or accidents where vehicle is not operable. o Troubleshooting with truck rental organizations to retrieve any vehicle which is inoperable, ensuring any incidents and/or accidents are reported to truck rental organization as well as all accounts are up to date and paid in accordance with the signed contract. Qualifications ● High school diploma required. ● Must be 21-years of age or older. ● Ability to obtain DOT medical card. ● Have a valid driver’s license in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia; good driving record required. ● Ability to travel to/from indicated area codes in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. ● Experience managing a small team preferred. ● Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word required. ● Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced working environment. ● Self-starter and able to work on tasks with minimal direction. ● Proactive and willing to take on new tasks as day-to-day priorities change. ● Ability to lift 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodations. ● CDL license (Class A or B) preferred but not required.
