MACOMBER CENTER for Self-Directed Learning - OPEN HOUSE this week !!!! Wednesday, December 8th @ 1 PM 63 Badger Road, Framingham We are off to a great start this year, our 10th year!! Meet our amazing staff and vibrant community. Check out our beautiful building and space located on 114-acres of land that adjoins the Ashland State Forest. We are neither a home nor a school - we offer the best of both worlds! Macomber Center is a self-directed education community for children ages 5-19 who are growing and learning without conventional schooling. The center follows a philosophy of independence, responsibility, and respect. There is an annual membership fee based on full or part-time attendance which gains children access to the center Monday thru Friday, 9am - 5pm. One week trial memberships are available.
