Established jazz combo seeks trumpet to round out line-up. Styles include bebop, cool jazz, latin jazz, modern jazz, ballads (all styles) and standards. We sometimes dabble in 50s, 60s, and 70s pop, especially to improvise over a well-known tune. See http://www.afterhoursjazzensemble.com. Influences include Miles, Coltrane, Monk, Ella, Parker. Good chart reading and improvisation skills a must. We rehearse in Roswell regularly, monthly or more frequently if new material or upcoming gig. We are reformulating our line-up because of changes due to pandemic. Rest assured that no one contracted COVID, just moved-on to locations outside of Atlanta.
