Description
Definition of socialism. 1 : any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods. 2 a : a system of society or group living in which there is no private property. b : a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state. You should at least know the definition before you go ranting, clearly you don't which is perfectly inline with how you think, all emotion zero facts which is typical of Democrats, Sanders, AOC, Talib, Omar etc. Democrats actually want socialism which is why socialists are in the Democratic Party, there are no known or acknowledged socialists in the Republican Party. People reaching out to help others less fortunate isn't the definition or reason for socialism, socialism is a political construct devised by political elites to control others. You should know this but being a Democrat sheeple prevents you from realizing the obvious. First, how many times will GOPers pull out the old "we're going socialist!" bullshit? It's like the 2nd amenders crying about their guns every time a Dem gets elected. So yea, socialism is real bad. So let's take the cops off the street cuz that's a "socialistic" thing. Ya know paying into a general fund for security? Can't have that. NO! Gotta go "wild, wild west" now. Everyone gets a gun! Oh and the fire department, can't have them. Again, paying into a general fund for fire services. Can't have that. Socialism! Everyone gets a hose. Oh wait.....water lines? That means socialized water delivery! NO! Socialism! Everyone gets a bucket. Enjoy the walk to the creek. Did you contribute to "social security". Yea no we can't have that. Go pay a money manager to manage your retirement funds. Oh and try to avoid the stock market ebbs and flows. Lord knows we all know how to invest, etc.! Like all ideologies, some parts are good. Some not so much. But in the long run, we will continue to get socialized medicine at higher prices, pay insurance for services we already fund, and in no way move towards socialism but maintain the fear that we will. We live in a plutocracy. Not communist. Not socialist. Not capitalist. Plutocracy. But any time we want to help the less fortunate, well that's socialism right? Jeez.
