Country Rock Tribute Band Needs Female Singer/Violinist

Bakersfield, a new band that pays tribute to the music coming out of the Bakersfield, CA music scene of the late sixties/early seventies and the numerous quality country and rock artists who have taken inspiration from it over the years, is looking for a female singer/violinist. With a current lineup of Drums/Vocals, Bass/Vocals, Guitar/Keys/Vocals, Lead Telecaster Guitar, Pedal Steel/Lap Steel/Guitar/Vocals, we are looking to round out our sound and do justice to the material we are targeting. We need you to tackle artists like Emmy Lou Harris (and her work with Gram Parsons), Linda Ronstadt, Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, Roseanne Cash, Lucinda Williams, K.D. Laing, Patty Loveless, Kathy Mattea, Lee Ann Rimes, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and a host of others and to provide the fiddle backing that is such a quintessential element of that hip country rock sound. Musicianship is strong and the people are nice. Looking to gig in second quarter of 2022. We look forward to hearing from you.
