Give me a text or call with name and basic info/experience/interests. This is for someone that doesn't want to do warehouse or fast food work. Or punch a clock and deal with that baloney politics. Working with me is ideal for people who are smart, fit, detail-oriented, reliable, respectful, efficient, and energetic. We do concrete polishing, staining, resurfacing, coatings, and concrete floor spruce-ups. Over 40 years old ALSO encouraged to apply. We do not discriminate. V not required. No drugs (for safety reasons). We use machinery and do detailed work. Requirements: -You must be aerobically fit w. normal construction industry endurance---this is a physical position with lots of detailed work. This is not the position for someone with health issues, or with injuries. If you are not fit or healthy, this type of work will not suit you. You must be used to hard work, standing, kneeling, following work orders, and repetitive work. We do not need know-it-alls. Prefer people with some construction experience, thorough, with an artistic experience. This is not like moving dirt, or typical construction. Other: -You must be able to lift 70+ pounds on occasion. -Must be willing to wear personal respiratory and other safety gear. -Must have a valid driver's license that is current AND reliable transportation just like with any other job. -NO drugs (legal or illegal) for safety reasons. Insurance will not allow that. -If you know to use a Clarke (or other) floor maintainer machine, that is a big PLUS. -We do things in a skilled way---and you must take pride in your detailed work. Everything we do is for a reason and is based on years of classes and experience. -Job requires standing behind diamond grinders for hours and frequent bending to do edge grinding. -You definitely must have artistic/technical skills and be detail-oriented, even when the boss is not there. -Obviously you must have RELIABLE transportation for local projects. Out of town jobs you can ride with me. -You must be punctual, you MUST be reliable and willing to work long hours sometimes (no flakiness!) -You must have a good attitude and a sincere nature. We reward good workers. -You must be looking for work that does not require you to punch a clock and put up with a bunch of politics. -You must be clean-cut, professional looking and respectful (multiple exposed tattoos, piercings, gang attire, gang clothing, and political clothing are not acceptable---our clients will not be comfortable with that). -You have some mechanical or construction experience. Experience with concrete grinding machinery is helpful. -NO cell phone surfing while working. Phones go off. Safety and productivity reasons. -This is a skilled trade that is in huge demand nationally. -If you have no endurance or ability to work in dirty-dusty construction environments, outdoors in harsh weather environments, and if wearing a respirator bothers you, this is not for you. -Most projects are local. If they are in Palm Sprin, you can ride with me. -You would be an independent contractor, 1099. -We treat good workers really good. All genders and ages are good. Just be fit. Physical work requires you be fit. -Some projects are 5 hour days. Some are 12 hour days on-site. Most are 8 hour on-site days. -Good, honest work that pays better than most jobs for entry level. -Good attitudes, good ethics, and showing up on time for work is rewarded. -The last worker didn't call or show up on day 3, and the worker before that did the same. Reliable workers get paid more. -We don't require masks or the jab. -All genders and ages are great. -We don't care about your past. We car about your work ethic and integrity. -Projects average $17-19 per hour for the right person. Skilled or experienced will be more.
